TCPS had nine members present for this investigation. We split up into four teams making sure we had each floor covered per round of investigating. Little did we realize that this night would hold some of the most exciting personal experiences to date for some members on the team.
The first group to investigate the Basement was almost immediately greeted upon their arrival. Both members heard what sounded like someone saying “hey!” when they arrived to the main section of the Basement. After radioing the other team on the Main Floor, the group learned it was not anyone else in the building that they heard as the Pub was also closed at this time as well. Other experiences for this group in the Basement included being touched several times and hearing what sounded like a chair being dragged across a wooden floor. This noise was also captured on one of the member’s recorders. The dragging sound came from the trap door area behind the bar in the Pub and the team from the Main Floor was no where near that section of the Palmer when the sound occurred. Other activity experienced in the Basement by the rest of the team ranged from seeing shadows and hearing the shuffling of feet down one of the hallways when no one was there.

The Main Floor seemed to be the highlight of the night for one group. The first member to experience anything in this group saw what he described as a reflection of a person staring back at him on one of the windows of the doors that lead into the dining room. He had been sitting in one of the chairs in the Lobby facing the Dining Room doors and noticed something odd appearing on the window. Upon getting up and going closer to the door is when he saw the outline of a face looking at him through the window. No one was in the Dining Room at the time this happened. Later on during this round, this same member saw a shadow of a person in the back section of the Dining Room. The other two members of that group did not witness this as they had their backs to that section at the time. But later on, the other two members of this group did see a full body shadow of a person in the back hallway in the Kitchen area. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful at capturing any of these apparitions/shadows on video and we were unable to recreate these experiences as well. The only other notable activity from the Main Floor that night was hearing a child’s voice from the Lobby area.

Not much other activity was noted from the remaining floors of the Hotel. On the Second Floor in Room 11, one team heard heavy breathing coming from various parts of the room at different times throughout the investigation round. There no one else in the room with them nor was anyone staying in the room next door to Room 11. They also experienced a ten degree temperature drop during this time of hearing the heavy breathing. No activity was noted from any where on the Third Floor of the Hotel.
