Please read our Investigation Report from 11-15-2008 for more information regarding this case.

Research and Background on the Property

We were able to obtain the owners’ abstract for the house. Unfortunately our research on the abstract did not lead us to any new information or details involving previous owners of the house.

TCPS had 4 members present for this investigation. The owners again left the house and took the dog along with them as to not disrupt the investigation process. The investigation began shortly after 9:30 PM. The team was again able to correlate spikes on the KII meter to the refrigerator in the kitchen turned off and on throughout the night. Most of the appliances in the home also still seemed to give off very high EMF readings as well.

While investigating the basement, the team found an area there where the EMFs were a constant 10-15 which seemed to possibly create what is known as a “fear cage” effect. A fear cage is a place where high EMF (electro magnetic fields) readings occur, usually a small room or enclosed space where there happen to be many wires, cables, and general electrical goings on. These can cause much havoc with the psyche of a vulnerable less tolerable human being who is in such an environment. This can cause un-easiness, nausea, headaches, dizziness, and general feelings of anxiety and paranoia. Sometimes these feelings can lead to the misunderstanding that there is a presence or paranormal being in such a place. At the bottom of the stairs in the basement, one member saw what she described as a small black cat-like shadow that she saw come from around the corner of the stairs. At the same time, another member felt as though they were being watched by something coming from the same corner by the stairs. It should be noted that on our last investigation of this house, a cat like shadow was seen by our team on the first floor.

The only other activity noted by our investigators from the rest of the night happened in the master bedroom. The KII seemed to respond to some of the questions asked by the team. However, with so many of the appliances in the house having the ability to set off our EMF meters, the KII “responding” could have just been picking up on a near by electrical device.

Final Analysis

Our team was truly hoping to either gain more information for a cause of the cause of activity in this home or find more evidence that could point a true haunting from this second investigation. Unfortunately, neither of those situations happened. We do feel that perhaps the high EMF readings throughout this location could in fact be cause for some of the activity experienced in the home. It could also be theorized that there is some type of residual energy left within the house which could explain the doors opening and closing on their own, smells of lotion, etc. that have been witnessed by the owners. We will keep you updated should any further information be gained regarding this case.
