Reason for Investigation Request

The client for this case contacted TCPS directly. The family consists of the client and her 17 year old son.

The family has lived in this home since November 2008. Their cat seems to be watching something all of the time. The cat will also then become very agitated near the staircase. She has heard the cupboard door slam downstairs and knows that the cat would not be able to open it that loudly. One evening she heard a loud bang that came from within the home. At the same time she felt a strong cold breeze move through the bathroom. On various occasions she has heard the water running in the bathroom – this is usually in the very early morning hours. The son has also heard a loud noise that startled him. She has come home to find her oven door open or bedroom doors open that she is sure were not left open when she left. She has been upstairs and heard the door downstairs door shut. The client also has been seeing bright silvery flashes of lights. She feels that this could possibly be that she has been working with tarot cards and has opened up her mind more to the spiritual world. The client has performed a sage cleansing of the home but it does not appear to have helped.

Investigation Details

TCPS had two members present for this investigation. The client and her cat were present in the home for the investigation. We set up our 4 camera system with night vision on the main floor covering the dining room, kitchen, and the bottom and top of the stairs. Voice recorders were also next to each of the cameras in the hope to catch a disembodied voice.

The team split up into two groups, each consisting of two members and investigated two bedrooms upstairs with reported activity, the stairs, the living room/dining room/kitchen area, and the basement. The only abnormal equipment readings we found during the night were in the basement. Both teams noted finding very high EMF readings throughout this part of the home. This could definitely attribute to the odd feelings of being watched that the family reported in this area. TCPS spent over three hours investigating this home and were not able to experience or reproduce any of the activity that was reported to us.

Final Analysis

After going through all of our recordings, both voice and video, we were unable to find any evidence of paranormal activity at this location. The high EMFs noted in the basement could also be caused by the wiring in the house, which could attribute to all the electrical light issues the family has witnessed over the past few years. The clients have since asked the Spiritual Advisory Department to do a house cleansing for their home. So far no follow up has been needed for this case.
