Reason for Investigation Request

The owner of this house agreed to an investigation of the property in an effort to try and understand why certain phenomenon was happening to her and her family. Although the family has only lived on the property since April of 2006, they have all experienced a lot of strange paranormal activity. Both the owner and her children have seen 2 different apparitions – one upstairs of a little girl and also one of an older man outside in the backyard.
Numerous times, the young girl has been seen overlooking the stairs in the hallway that is adjacent to the stairwell. The occupants of the house claim that the girl seems to be between the ages of 6 and 8 and is dressed in a white and powder blue dress. The old man that appears outside has often scared both the owner and her family, as he seems to be angry. He is always seen wearing a dark suit.
There is also a lot of activity in the basement. Things have been reported to be moved around and arranged in places the owner knows no one in her family would have put them. One of the children has also reported that she has heard voices, loud footsteps, and heavy breathing while in her room alone.

Research and Background on the Property

This particular house was built in 1946. The house originally sat on two lots, but back in 2004 the lots were legally split. Oddly enough, we were unable to find records for this house that date back before 2000. Yet records for the house that now sits on the other lot this house used to be on date back to the 1970's. The original owner of the house lived there with his wife for many years. However, the wife died in August of 1992. We are not for certain if she died in the house, but we do know she died in the same zip code as the house's address. The husband went on to live in the house until 2004. He died about a year later. We were unable to contact the people who bought this property in 2004. The only info we know is that the house was only occupied for a period of six to eight months before being sold to the current owner.

Investigation Details

There was evidence collected in every room of the home except two of the bedrooms. Almost every room had Orb activity shot with both digital and film cameras. Only one orb picture had other evidence to support it. Unfortunately, the other pictures did not, so we do not take those orbs as definitive evidence of paranormal activity. EVP’s were collected in the basement, one of the bedrooms on the main floor, one of the bedrooms upstairs and in the main section of the basement. Three of our investigators had their shirts tugged by unseen forces. EMF readings spiked in the living room. All of our efforts failed to find a reasonable explanation for the cause of the spikes. Some of the investigators spoke of feeling watched and followed. Others experienced a feeling of “dread” in the basement. A few of our members spoke of a “heavy atmosphere” feeling in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Two of our investigators spoke about feeling that someone was coming toward them while they were in the other upstairs bedroom.

Final Analysis

There is definite paranormal activity happening in this home. We will be scheduling further investigations at this property to collect and analyze more evidence.
