Many people or paranormal groups lay claim to paranormal activity through pictures. In some instances, those pictures contain orbs. The Twin Cities Paranormal Society is not what you would call "orb friendly". Basically this means when we do get pictures of orbs from investigations, we consider every possible explanation for these orbs before calling them proof of activity. Ninety-nine percent of the time, TCPS feels these types of various orb pictures are the result of things such as dust, light reflections, lens flares, etc.
We also do not consider orb pictures as proof of the paranormal unless other evidence (such as an EVP, EMF spike, or cold spots) was collected at the same time the picture was taken. Most of the pictures we have collected from investigations, like many out there on the Internet, have a natural and rational explanation. Any pictures the Twin Cities Paranormal Society posts as evidence on this site have been thoroughly examined and categorized as unexplained.

Picture of footprints found in the basement of the Palmer House. As you can see, the prints do seem to be heading towards the only door out of the room, which when they were found, the investigators had not left the room yet.

Another picture of the footprints from the basement. We had the one female who was present at the time the footprints were found put her foot next to the footprint to show that the prints could not be hers. As you can see by the picture, our member’s shoe appears to be larger than the footprint itself.

The picture above is a result of one of the times an investigator's camera went off on its own in the TV room. Interestingly, a minute before this picture was "taken", one of our members asked if the spirit understood it was OK to cross over, to give them a sign. A few minutes after this picture was captured, an investigator felt a cold spot near her.
We believe the small dots within the picture are from the sparkles in the paint on the ceiling. How those were seen without the flash being used, we do not know. We also do not understand what the red is within the picture, perhaps a matrixing effect. Several of our members have tried to recreate this picture with the same conditions in the room as during the investigation, but were not successful. This is a cropped version of the picture. You may click on the pic to see it in its full size.
